The Main Characteristics of PEI Sheet
It has the best high temperature resistance and dimensional stability, as well as chemical resistance, flame retardancy, electrical properties, high strength, high rigidity, etc. Not only has high mechanical performance, but also has excellent heat resistance and chemical stability (continuous use temperature is about 170 ℃), as well as high dimensional stability and creep strength. It has high strength, high rigidity, wear resistance and dimensional stability at high temperatures. Without any additives, it has inherent flame retardancy and low smoke. The oxygen index is 47%, and the combustion rating is UL94-V-0.
The density of the PEI board is 1.28~1.42g/cm3, the glass transition temperature is 215℃, and the heat distortion temperature is 198~208℃. It can be used for a long time at 160~170℃, and the maximum allowable intermittent use temperature is 200℃. PEI has excellent mechanical strength, electrical insulation properties, radiation resistance, high and low temperature resistance, fatigue resistance, and molding processability; adding glass fiber, carbon fiber or other fillers can achieve the purpose of enhancement and modification. It is unique in its thermoplastic plastics. Torsional strength makes it a cheap substitute for small steel cutting parts.
