PPS has good chemical stability and can be made into PPS ROD. In addition to being corroded by strong oxidizing acids, such as concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid and aqua regia, it is not corroded by most acid-base salts, and has a chemical stability close to that of PTFE. It is insoluble in any known organic solvents when it is lower than 175 degrees Celsius, and there will be no cracking of plastic parts when it contacts with general organic solvents. It is extremely resistant to inorganic acids, alkalis and salts. Not resistant to chlorinated biphenyls and oxidizing acids, oxidants, aqua regia, hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite, etc. PPS Plastic Sheet has good radiation resistance, and the radiation resistance reaches Gy 1×108, which is a new material unmatched by other engineering plastics. Secondly, it has excellent flame resistance and belongs to V-0 level. The dielectric constant is very small and the dielectric loss is quite low. The surface resistivity and volume resistivity are not sensitive to changes in frequency, temperature and humidity. It is an excellent electrical insulating material. Hardness increases even more.
